Your data, handled the way you’d expect.
This policy explains what Farcasts collects, why, and the choices you have. In plain terms: we read only what we need to tailor and improve your website, we never sell it, and you stay in control of every connection you grant us.
Last updated: 7 July 2026
Introduction and scope
Farcasts (“Farcasts”, “we”, “us”) provides an AI platform that adapts a company’s website to different visitor types and continuously tests which version converts best. This policy applies to our website at farcasts.com, to our platform, and to the data we handle on behalf of the companies who use it (“customers”). Where a customer uses Farcasts to process information about its own visitors, the customer is the controller of that information and Farcasts acts as its processor, handling that data only on the customer’s instructions.
Information we collect
Information you provide. Account and contact details such as your name, work email, company, and anything you send us when you request a demo, correspond with us, or configure the service.
Information from your use of our site. Basic usage and device data collected through cookies and similar technologies when you visit farcasts.com, such as pages viewed and general analytics, used to keep the site working and understand how it is used.
Information from connected accounts and advertising platforms you authorise. With your authorisation, we connect to third-party platforms and advertising services you use through secure OAuth authorisation, and read information such as campaign, keyword, ad-copy, and performance data. This access is limited and read-only: we do not create, modify, or delete anything in those connected accounts.
Content generated for you. The website variants and edits our platform produces on your behalf, along with the aggregated results used to measure which versions perform best.
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- provide, operate, secure, and improve the Farcasts platform and our website;
- generate and optimise tailored website content and variants for you, and measure their results, which is the sole purpose for which data from your connected accounts is used;
- communicate with you about your account, support requests, and the service;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Data obtained from connected platforms is used only to deliver the service to you. It is not used for any unrelated purpose, and it is not used to advertise to third parties.
Connected accounts and advertising platforms
When you connect an advertising or third-party account, you grant Farcasts read-only access through that platform’s secure OAuth flow, scoped to the information we need to tailor and optimise your website: campaign, keyword, ad-copy, and performance data. We read this data; we never create, change, pause, or delete anything in the connected account.
The purpose is narrow and fixed: we use what we read to build website variants suited to the audiences your campaigns target, and to measure how those variants perform. Information obtained from connected platforms is handled in accordance with the terms and developer policies of the platforms we connect to, as well as applicable law.
You can disconnect or revoke access at any time, either from within Farcasts or directly in the third-party platform’s own settings. Revoking access stops all further reading immediately, and you can request deletion of data we hold as a result of the connection.
How we share information
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising to third parties. We share information only with subprocessors strictly needed to provide the service, and only to the extent required to do so. These fall into two categories:
- Cloud infrastructure providers that host and secure the platform;
- AI and language-model providers used to generate website content and variants.
Subprocessors are bound by confidentiality and are permitted to use the data only to perform services for us. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights, and in connection with a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy continues to govern the data.
Data retention and deletion
We retain information only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law. When you disconnect an account or request deletion, we delete the associated data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it to meet a legal obligation. To request deletion, email hello@farcasts.com.
Security
We protect information with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls that limit who can reach it, and secure storage of authorisation tokens. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep our safeguards aligned with the sensitivity of the data we handle.
Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your personal information, and to withdraw consent you have given. You can also disconnect any connected account at any time through Farcasts or in the platform’s own settings.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@farcasts.com. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
International transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than the one you are in. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with applicable data-protection law.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site functioning and to understand, in aggregate, how it is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. We keep this to what is needed for a working, measurable site, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles of you.
Children
Farcasts is a business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top and, where changes are material, take reasonable steps to let you know. The effective date of this version is 7 July 2026.
